ISAV 2016: In Situ Infrastructures for Enabling Extreme-Scale Analysis and Visualization

A workshop to be held in conjunction with SC16 in Salt Lake City, UT, 13 Nov 2016.
This workshop brings together researchers, developers and practitioners from industry, academia, and government laboratories who use in situ methods in extreme-scale, high performance computing. The goal is to present existing in-situ infrastructures, reference examples in a range of science and engineering applications, to discuss topics like opportunities presented by new architectures; existing infrastructure needs, requirements, and gaps; and experiences to foster and enable in situ analysis and visualization.

LBNL Visualization at SC2005 in Seattle, WA.

The LBNL visualization group presents broad spectum of work including applications in structural biology,
AMR combustion, gene expression, phylogenetics, accelerator modeling, file formats for scientific data,
and query driven visualization.
In addition, the group is participating in the HPC Analytics Challenge, and the SC05 HPC Tri-Challenge.
Members of the group will present talks on Security Visualization for the Analytics Challenge and Query
Driven Visualization.

prioritizing visualization requirements of many DOE-sponsored computational
science programs being carried out at NERSC. The meeting is scheduled for

The 24th annual DOE Computer Graphics Forum will be held this year at
the Granlibakken Resort & Conference Center in Lake Tahoe, California
between May 2nd and May 5th. The DOE CGF continues in the tradition of
its predecessors by providing a forum for DOE Computer Graphics
researchers to get together, exchange ideas and share information in
a casual atmosphere.

1998 MICS Workshop on Visualization

This workshop identified common issues and needs of the scientific
visualization centers within DOE, concerning ongoing R&D and tool
interchange. Participants wrote a report identifying solutions to
challenges posed by the overall goal of carrying out efficient
visualization research, support, and tool-sharing.
