We thought it was lost to antiquity, but found and reinstated images
and movies we made for Saul Perlmutter (LBNL, Physics Division)
circa 1998. At one time, this image and movie were one of the
most downloaded items from the LBNL visgroup webpage.

Awards at the 2006 International Conference on Machine Learning

DOE announces the funding awards for the SciDAC2 program.
As part of that program, LBNL is the lead institution of
the SciDAC2
Visualization and Analytics Center for Enabling Technology.
Partnering with LBNL are visualization experts from LLNL,
ORNL, Utah/SCI and UC Davis/IDAV.
- May 19, 2006 Added a new vignette describing research results where
query-driven visualization is applied to a hero-sized network
traffic analysis problem. Similarly, updated our
research page with some information about
our query-driven visualization program.
