Shading Scale Editor

The Shading Scale Editor allows you to edit any of Gsharp's shading scales. There are six built-in scales and four user defined ones.

A shading scale is used to select colors for a set of classes. The shading scale runs from 0 to 255 and a color can be specified at any point on the scale.

To select the colors for the classes equally spaced points on the scale are taken.

For example if ten classes are required then Gsharp will take the first color, the last color and the colors at eight equally spaced points between them. If a point in the shading scale does not have a color then the value is interpolated from the colors either side of it.

For more information on the available resources - see The Shades Object.
