LBNL Lightbox Image Gallery - Page 1
December 10, 2003 All links to image sequences have been
neutralized since the original image sequences are lost to
antiquity. We're leaving the link targes in the page for
historical reference.
The page below is divided up along project lines. Within each
project, one or more image sequences have been created. From
each project, we need to choose one sequence. Also, we anticipate
having space and funds for only four lightboxes, so we need to
choose from among the various projects.
In addition to hyperlinks to tarfiles of low-res SGI-format RGB
files, some of the sequences have been made into short MPEG
movies (between 10 and 13 frames).

In each of the four sample image sequences below, we are moving
the camera left-to-right a small distance. In the first two sequences,
the visualized data does not change. In other words, the only difference
between each consecutive image is the position of the camera. The second
two sequences combine camera motion with time-varying data.
As with the other examples, we have made images using both an
infinite depth of field, corresponding to "trucking" the camera,
and using a short depth of field, corresponding to a camera "shear".
