Whether or not you came to the first unit origami talk in June, please DO come to this talk if you are at all curious about what unit origami is and/or learning how to fold and assemble some interesting "units". During the first talk I covered some basic background, everyone learned to fold a "unit", and these where assembled into several dodecahedrons. The group dynamics of the assembly process were as interesting as the assembly process itself!

In this talk I will briefly provide some context for unit origami along with several examples. Then we will immediately start folding! I will show everyone how to fold and assemble two new "units" (no previous experience necessary). I have used each of these "units" in many, many different assemblies and I am still coming up with new ways to assemble them. This indicates to me that they are extremely versatile.
