Cut

The Cut filter can be used to cut a data object with a plane or a sphere. This will usually decrease the dimensionality of the data object being cut. For example, cutting a sphere with a plane may produce a circle. An interactive widget can be used for placing the plane, and a set of offset distances can be specified to perform more than one cut at a time. The Cut filter is accessed through the Toolbar.
