The Gsharp Product Family

Gsharp is a family of products which includes the Gsharp Web Edition, the Gsharp Professional Edition and the Gsharp Application Seat. The Gsharp Web Edition, GsharpWE, has been optimized for use as a graph engine on a Web server, and includes functionality designed specifically for the Web. GsharpWE processes GSL and produces Web-compliant HTML, images, imagemaps, and Java output.

The Gsharp Professional Edition, Gsharp, is an interactive data visualization tool which helps you create, automate, and publish graphs. Gsharp can be operated both through its interactive GUI using point and click operations, and it can be programmed using the Gsharp Script Language - GSL. More information is available on the product datasheet.

The Gsharp Application Seat is an engine for processing GSL scripts. It is possible to use GSL to create GUI objects such as menus, toolbars and dialogs. Using GSL, a real graphical application can be created in a fraction of the time of traditional programming methods. You decide the menu structure, the graph styles and the interaction - Gsharp Application Seat provides the rest. The Gsharp Application Seat is available for UNIX, VMS and Windows. With Gsharp you can easily read, manipulate and present your data either interactively or using GSL. Once you have finished you can turn your work into a GSL template at the touch of a button. GSL templates can be used to present your data on the World Wide Web using the Gsharp Web Edition or can be plugged into your own application using the Gsharp Application Seat.
