Using the Resource Editors
The following
dialogs
and notes show how to use the common features of the Resource Editors.
Descriptions on specific editors can be found in The
Graphic Objects.
|
- The resources
are bundled into groups. Each bundle can be selected by clicking
on its tab at the top of the resource editor.
- To the left
of each resource is a check-box. The check-box is set whenever
a resource is modified. If you clear the check-box, the
resource is set to its default value.
- Some resources
are preceded by a yellow hand. This indicates that you must
specify this resource.
- Clicking
on the Help button brings up the on-line help for that dialog.
|
- To
enter a new value in a field, double click in the field and then
enter the new value. It will be not be possible to close the dialog
if you enter an invalid value.
- Resources
with a fixed set of values will be displayed using a pull-down.
Click on the pull-down to select the desired value. If there are
many possible values the pull-down will be displayed with a scroll
bar.
- Some numeric
fields will have spin buttons. Click on the up button to increase
the value and on the down button to decrease it. The increment
value is set by Gsharp to an appropriate value. Values can also
be entered directly into the field in the usual way.
- If the resource
is followed by a button containing "...", then clicking on this
button will display a dialog to help you choose a value. If the
resource is a color then the ColorChooser
is displayed. If the resource is a font then the FontChooser
is displayed
