Snap Grid

The Snap Grid Editor can be displayed by selecting Snap Grid from the Options Menu.

The Snap Grid is a grid to which objects will snap to when you move them or resize them.

The position of the grid is shown using small dots on the canvas. These dots are not included in any output.

You can use the editor to:

  • Enable and Disable the grid
  • To set the distance between dots
  • To set the color and size of the dots
  • To set the maximum number of dots that are displayed. This option allows you to have a very small distance between points but not have your plot obliterated with dots.

See the gridoption object for a full description of the gridoption's resources
